20 Things Your Bible Worker Will Never Tell You — 16 Comments

  1. Amen William,

God bless you richly in your ministry and outreach to touch the many souls that you do, for Jesus, by His Will for His Kingdom!

20-years of devoted service for Jesus, here and now, and I look forward for that time soon, when it will be for Eternity. I will pray for you and your ministry.

  2. Excellent piece, William. It all seems so common sense, but in real life, sometimes we don't notice those little details. I know I tend to get so wrapped up in what I'm doing that I forget to look out for what other people are looking for. Moving out of my comfort zone sometimes takes a little shove for a friend. Thanx for the shove. ;D

  3. Wow! You make studying the bible with others sound so exiting. The piece you have written is insightful and uplifting, God bless you. I hope to share the word of God with others and wish someone to pray for me and with me.

      • Isn't every Bible a study Bible? Mine promises me the Holy Spirit will teach me, guiding me into all truth, and all the other verses prove if it is in fact the Holy Spirit or not. 🙂

  4. If not for the attentive bible worker that caught my parents after their very first church visit and headed out the door intending to, "never come back again", I don't know where I would be. To this day she is our 'Grandma Dorothy'. Thank you for all you do!

  5. I am so thankful for Bible workers who make it their life to help people come to the Lord and understand the Scriptures better. God bless you and all Bible workers around the globe. My grandmother in a small town in southern Idaho once had an SDA Bible worker visit and study the Bible with her and her mother when she was a little girl back before 1920! Even though she did not join this denomination until I was five or six some 50 or so years later, she always remembered some of the truths taught by that Bible worker. I am so glad that such workers are still earnestly doing the work today until Jesus takes us home!!!

    • William,

I love this post!! Each and every point is valuable. Since I am a leader in our church, and teach the adult Sabbath school lesson, and sometimes give Bible studies, I can relate to all the ideas. This post can be re-read many times for support and encouragement. The picture goes very well with the post and what a nice environment to give a Bible study. Thanks very much!

  6. I am where I am today because of a Bible Worker named "Maxine". I was hardly 3 at the time and can barely picture her entering our house carrying a projector and screen with a pleasant smile. Her efforts changed everything.

  7. Thanks for this William. It truly reminded me what we the members should be for our brothers and sisters in our congregation. I pray we will be more attentive as we go throughout the week, that we will see those who are suffering and really want that encouraging word. May we also see those fellow believers in our congregations who are struggling with their own battles and reach out to them.
