Sabbath: The Bible and History — 2 Comments

  1. I hope we all take time to enjoy the magnificent Psalm 104.

    This lesson reminded me of William Cosper's poem and hymn:

    God moves in a mysterious way
    His wonders to perform;
    He plants His footsteps in the sea,
    And rides upon the storm.
    ...
    Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take,
    The clouds ye so much dread
    Are big with mercy, and shall break
    In blessings on your head.

    Judge not the Lord by feeble sense,
    But trust Him for His grace;
    Behind a frowning providence
    He hides a smiling face.
    [I left out 2 stanzas. Sadly this is not in our current hymnal.]

  2. This lesson makes us to know that bible works with the history and the future. It also make us know that God knows the history and the future. Joshua
