      • I think what he is trying to say about this worship shaped vacuum is that, we were created to worship our maker.... But because of the willing power that has been given to us, he has made the heart a lovely worship shape but it is empty, but if u chose to worship him,u turn to fill that vacuum, cos de shape is a worship shape of it kind...

  2. I have tried at one moment neglecting the sripture. The devil will occupy you with something and one dies spiritually. This eventually affects your language (the way you think and express). When we talk of spiritual food its the bible, He is indeed the same yesterday, today and forevermore. The events tbat were prophesied happened to the letter( the coming of Jesus) where He was to be born and how he would die. This was written in the scripture. Which other inspired can you compare with? NONE!

    • Praise the Lord Nelson, this is wonderful! We will continue praying for you not to look back. Are you a part of a church family? I encourage you to continue to find strength and encouragement by fellowshiping with other believers, in a church family, and of course we are your online family here, to help you as you continue to study God's Word and grow in His amazing grace! Thank you for sharing this with us today!

  4. The foundation of belief for Seventh Day Adventist should be the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy. G-d through His wisdom knew that the church would add and take away from His word by their various interpretations. Therefore He gave us the Spirit of prophecy to enable us to understand the scriptures. we cannot honestly say we abide in every word and yet dispised the councle of G-d given by the Holy Ghost through the Spirit of Prophecy. yes we may say "I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, miserable and poor, and blind, and naked".Because we reject or slight the whole Counsel of G-d sent to us through the Holy GHost we become lukeworm, and is insipid in G-ds mouth.
If we continue down this path what will G-d do? "I will spue thee out of my mouth".

    Revelation 3:15-16

    • Hazel, thank you for your thoughtful comments. My understanding, is that the phrase “Spew thee out of my mouth” Spew actually is the greek word “mello” which means “about to throw up” or “feel like vomiting.” In other words our self righteousness makes Jesus so sick He feels like vomiting. However He does not actually “vomit” or spew us out of His mouth, which tells me,(along with the fact that there is no 8th church) that the church repents, and lets and trades in its self righteousness for Jesus’ white raiment.

  5. I'm trying to fully understand what Christ was saying in John 10:34-35, when He said, "Is it not written in your law, I said, you are gods?" Anyone have clarity on that?

    • Hi Paul, Did you check the cross reference (in the center margin of most good bibles) for this text? The reference indicates that Jesus was quoting from Psalm 52:6. Does that help at all?

(I'm thinking that Jesus may have used a little play on words, but someone with some knowledge of biblical languages might be able to shed more light on this.)
