    • I to have fallen into temtation, it seems the harder I try the harder it gets to follow Gods laws.I realy want to be a good christian but I find it so hard because I have no one around me to share with or study the bible with.I feel like I am alone in this life of mine.I hate asking for things but could you please pray for me to become the man Gods wants me to be.

  2. William, thank you for sharing with us how you have personally seen God at work.

God has a lot more patience than we do, doesn't He? And we can never spend too much time meditating on what Christ has done for us.

  3. Thank you William for the wonderful message. It's incredible to think that God never give up on us and is willing to forgive even after our rebellious sins.

Praise the Lord for such opportunity!

  4. Jesus has left me an example never to give up praying...matt 17:1-8,mark 9:2-8,luke 9:28-36 .. I'm often overcome with weariness as peter, james and john. question: if one of the three disciples not fallen asleep would he literally heard what moses and elijah said to jesus?..

  5. Oh powerful and humbling, I don't deserve the sacrifice that Christ made for me. But I am so filled with gratitude that He did! Jesus saves! How beautiful are those two words!

    • Freddie, I believe God brought you to this site especially to encourage you to hold on, because God is holding on to you. (I pray daily that the Lord will bring visitors who can benefit from what we have posted here, and I believe the Lord is answering that prayer.)

Re-commit your life to Him, and then plan to spend a significant amount of time daily to focusing on His love for you -- like an hour or so a day. Read through the gospels several times before you do any other Bible reading. And I also recommend reading through something like a commentary on the Parables of Jesus.

Focus your attention on the Lord and His love, rather than on the things of this world, and talk to Him as you would to a friend. That's what Christian prayer is all about. In a month's time, you will be so changed that you won't recognize the old you. 🙂

I hope that other readers of this comment will join me in praying for you.

  7. I thank God for his love for me despite my sins, may his name be praised. I know I'm a sinner. I ask for more felling of the Holy Spirit to direct me to the right path.

  10. Let's continue praying for and encouraging one another. As I see God's grace working in my life I become sure of one thing. I will be saved by faith. But it is not my faith that saves me. It's the faithfulness of Jesus that will save me!

  11. To not give up on someone is noble, however I heed King Jesus' words in Matthew 13:38-39 KJV.

I focus on sowing seed in the good ground (King Jesus in Matthew 13:8 KJV)

I do not waste time on "the children of the wicked one" but I choose to rather redirect that time to King Jesus' children.

    • The issue is that it is not within our power to determine who is noble and who is wicket. Jesus himself said:

For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? Matt 18:11, 12 KJV

I believe we should follow Jesus' example.
