New look, more content

We remain committed to providing the Sabbath School lesson online as well as lesson helps and Bible Study helps to our users. And we remain committed to supporting the goals of the Sabbath School Department of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and the Sabbath School lessons for each quarter.

To make these goals real, we are providing some new content. The Teachers’ helps that used to be available only via email are now available directly on this site, through the front page. We also plan to feature other articles which, though not directly related to the lesson, should be helpful for Sabbath School teachers who tend to meet all sorts of issues in the course of teaching the lesson. And we suspect that many of our readers will find this supplementary material of interest as well.

We want your input. Tell us what you would like to see — what subjects and what authors you would like to see featured. We would love to have writers from various part of the world-wide Advent movement. Doing this in the Comments section will allow others to agree with you, if they feel the same need.  And please tell us where in the world you live.

If something doesn’t work for you on this site, telling us through the Contact link at the top of the page will make sure that your concern will not get lost in a sea of comments.

We hope to have a magazine-type lay-out soon to better serve you. Please pray for us as we prayerfully move ahead to make this site, loved by so many, even more useful.

  1. I love the new look. I find it more user friendly with all accessable links in one page. It makes my study even more enjoyable. A big mahalo (thank you in Hawaiian) to the SSNET staff. May our loving Father continue to bless and guide your work. Willa from Honolulu, HI.

  2. The changes make this site even better. Thanks to everyone who makes this possible. The new site so far seems to me to be a great balance of lots of content, usability and presentation. Love it...

  3. The new look is very nice. The site over all is a little more complicated and you have made it even harder to find the Giardina Sabbath School Study Helps! This part of your site; these helps are buried deep in your web site web pages! Only those of us who know your site from the past few years and figure it out. But new site users have no idea that these extra help are available. You MUST make the Giardina Sabbath School Study Helps more prominent and much easier to access. Keep up the awesome work.

    • Making the Ellen White comments and extra Bible texts more findable is on the agenda. Give us a little more time -- maybe an extra 24 hours a day or so? ;)

  5. Thank you so much for providing this website which I have been using for several years first on PC and now on iPad and iPhone. I love the new mobile version.
The GC App is great for when I do not have wireless access but I use your site 90% of the time because of the clickable links and I especially like the "Helps" section that places all the Bible texts and EGW quotes on one page. This works especially well when I want to "cheat" and fill in my paper quarterly without looking up all the texts.
I look forward to using some of the new features you have introduced.
