  1. Anywhere with Jesus I can safely go. No matter the political situation of Thesselonica, the gospel was still preached there. That is to say no human barrier can stop the word of God. All we need to do is to submit ourselves and say "I'll go where you want me to go dear Lord, I'll say what you want me to say dear Lord" from deep down in our heart and he will use us mightily as he used Paul in Thesselonica. Amen.

  2. Solomon says nothing under the sun is new. This lesson reminds me of the history of my own country and the way in which our history influences our belief systems and our way of life. Many people in my country have a negative view of the Bible. Some say the Europeans used it as a tool to enslave black people. How do we actually get these people to understand the real purpose of the Bible is to free and not enslave?
