Maybe you changed your mind about contributing right now, or maybe you’re just confused (click here) …

Either way, we thank you for considering a gift to Sabbath School Net.

It’s fine if you can’t or don’t want to contribute just now. If you change your mind, you can always come back and leave a gift later.

Just so you know – we are an independently funded supporting ministry of the General Conference Sabbath School Department. We are not affiliated with nor funded by the GC, and the life of our site depends 100% on the generosity of persons who care about this ministry. Our bills come in monthly, and the more successful the site is, the bigger the bills get. That’s why we really appreciate regular and occasional contributions large and small. They all add up.

If you use this site regularly and you can afford it, please do pray about it and consider giving to enable us to continue to publish the lessons and the blog on this site not just for those of us who love the convenience of online lessons with linked Bible texts and the challenge of online discussions, but also for those in third-world countries who do not have the privileges most of us have. Many tell us that they cannot get the Sabbath School lessons where they live.

May the Lord bless you and keep you,

May the Lord make His Face to shine on you
And give you peace.more-blessed-to-give

Confused by the PayPal Donation page?

Here’s a little more information: You were on a secure site hosted by PayPal, the safer, easier way to pay online, used by more than 150 million people world-wide. It’s as secure as your local bank account site. And, no, you don’t have to open a PayPal account to donate. All you need to do is this:

  1. Choose the amount you want to donate at the top of the page.
  2. Check “Make this recurring (Monthly)” if you want to set up monthly donations. (It is best to set up a PayPal account for this to  manage your donations. See more below.)
  3. Either set up/use your PayPal account, or drop down to the credit card images and click on “Continue” without setting up an account.
  4. Choose your country/currency
  5. Provide your name
  6. Provide your credit card number (we don’t see it; only PayPal does)
  7. Choose credit card type and provide expiration date
  8. Provide your billing address (to prove that you are the rightful owner of the credit card).
  9. Provide your phone number. It seems that PayPal uses it to verify your identity, and we can’t turn it off. Be assured that your phone number will remain confidential.
  10. Provide your email address to receive a record of your gift. (Note, however, that we are not a registered tax-deductible charity.)
  11. Click on “Review Donation and Continue”
  12. If you want to go back now, just go back to our home page or try again (see right side bar). If not, we hope you continue to be blessed by our site.

  1. My country (Ghana) was not part of the select your country drop down menu. How do I then donate?

    • Dear Wilson,

We appreciate your desire to contribute to the continuing costs of keeping the Sabbath School Net site running.

I just put in a telephone call to PayPal and am sorry to report that PayPal does not deal in your currency, the Ghanaian Cedi.

If you wish to make a major contribution through an international bank wire transfer, you can use the "Contact" link on our site to let me know, and I can give you bank information for the transfer. (Currently (May 19, 2015) 1.00 GHS = 0.249688 USD. And $1.00 USD = 3.8704 Ghana Cedi. These rates fluctuate on a continuous basis.)

May God bless you abundantly, whether or not you find it practical to contribute. If you cannot contribute financially, we ask you to pray for the mission of Sabbath School Net - that this site may be effective in leading people closer to God through a better understanding of His character. This ministry runs best on prayer, and we covet the prayers of God's people.

    • We appreciate your desire to contribute to the costs of keeping Sabbath School Net going.

Our Sabbath School Net site is not "secure," but the PayPal page on which donations are actually made (requesting you to input your credit card number) is secure. Try it again and check it out.

We suggest you scroll to the bottom of the Donation page to this:

      Don't have a PayPal account?
Use your credit card or bank account (where available).

      Continue

Don't click on "Continue" here, but on the PayPal page, after you go back to it.

        • Dear Kana,
Thank you for your desire to give! We are sorry that the script didn't work for you. (It is supposed to accept NZD.)
We will see what we can do to make it work correctly. Perhaps you can check back in a month or so.
In the meantime, we pray that you will continue to be blessed by Sabbath School Net.

We really appreciate your letting us know that it doesn't work, because it's hard for us to know if people don't tell us.
Please pray that we can find a solution. Thank you!

  2. For those of us who are willing but for one reason or the other cannot do so,I believe that our regular sabbath school offering, buying printed sabbath school quarterly are also ways of supporting SSNET

    • Adeleye,

Sabbath School Net is run by a group of lay volunteers and does not receive any financial aid from the Sabbath School offering, the printed quarterly Study Guides or any other Church body. While donations from our readership are appreciated, they are not expected. Sabbath School Net does cost money to run and we appreciate it when those who can donate do so. At the same time we understand that in an international environment, because of currency restrictions, it is not possible for some to give, even though they would like to. Feel free to continue to use the resources of Sabbath School Net; our aim is to support the study of God's Word.

  3. Adeleye, it is as Maurice mentioned, and If you happened to belong to a Sabbath School in person, you will probably have the opportunity to contribute to a Sabbath School expense offering. Yes I also appreciate the effort that is required to keep this site operational.

    • Thank you, Joseph. We appreciate your desire to donate. While you cannot donate to Sabbath School Net, you may donate to Sabbath School and Missions around the world in your local Seventh-day Adventist congregation in whatever way you normally pay for things.
