Inside Story: Guinea ~ WAD — 6 Comments

  1. Praise ye the Lord; for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely...
    Psalms 147:1-20

What a mighty God we serve. There is no God like our God. He is a man of war, a protector, a guide, a help in time of trouble. Let all who have breath praise the Lord, praise ye the Lord.
Evil are present in every corner of this world. It is naive to think only in some cultures evil is present. Evil is present and presents itself in every quarter of this world. But it is by the name of Jesus evil is defeated. Fanta, I join with you in praising the name of Jesus.

  2. Thank you for sharing this amazing story with us! It seems to me that we here in the Western World do not have a 'close to life' relationship with spirits, principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this age, spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places manifesting themselves, but we are aware that the Spirit of God is more powerful than any power attempting to manifest itself in our lives!

I am happy to read that the name of Jesus still proves to be the most powerful deterrent to those forces who encroach on our spiritual safety - this strengthens my faith.

I am also very happy for Fanta that, after being willing to endure two years of agonizing questions, doubt and confusion trying to understand what she was experiencing, was rewarded with her baby carried all this time by God's miracle working power.
Yes, indeed - I praise God for showing us His unfathomable Love!

  3. The story is wonderful. But I read a BBC article about a “Fanta Camara” charged for providing traditional medicine to sterile women in Guinea to make them appear pregnant. This supposed pregnancy often lasted for 12 to 18 months and these women were not pregnant but just bloated because of the concoction she gave them. I’m just wondering if this is the same woman featured here.

    • I have also read the news article. It is an unfortunate coincidence of name, location, and related events. I only hope that those who check the bona fides of this story did their homework before publishing it.

  4. Someone needs to do better fact checking before they publish these stories. If a woman had indeed been pregnant for more than 2 years and successfully delivered a healthy baby, it would have been all over the news. God is not glorified by fairy stories.
