The Adult Sabbath School Lessons are prepared by the Department of Church Ministries of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. This quarter's Bible study focuses on End-Time Landmarks of the SDA Church. Dr. Norman Gulley is the Principal Contributor to this quarter's lessons.

Dr. Norman Gulley graduated from Newbold college (1954); Southern Missionary College (1955); the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary (M.A., 1956; M.Div., 1958); and the University of Ediburgh, Scotland (Ph.D., 1970). He has chaired two theology departments (Japan Missionary College and Philippine Union College, graduate theology program) and served as academic dean of the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary, Philippines (1973-78). He served in the Far Eastern Division for 16 years. Dr. Gulley is professor of systematic theology at Southern College. He is a prolific writer for professional journals and of popular articles, has contributed to the doctrinal book Seventh-day Adventists Believe and to the Anchor Bible Dictionary, and has written five books.
Dr. Gulley's longtime dream is in process of fulfillment--to write a Seventh-day Adventist systematic theology. His hobbies include oil painting, bike riding, ham radio operating, researching, writing, and working with his computer. Dr. Gulley is married to Dr. Leona (nee Minchin), professor of psychology at Southern College. They have four children and six grandchildren.
