We envision an online environment that will parallel a healthy community of faith, with both  young and old engaging in the conversation.

We envision an atmosphere of sharing truths that we hold dear, while being respectful of the views of others.

Jesus said, “When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8) History has demonstrated that an unexamined faith will not stand up under testing. While life’s events are often the best teachers, we hope to deal with points of faith in such a manner as to lead to a thorough examination of what God really means to say to us through His Word.

Through our articles, discussion and other means, we intend to foster the development of spiritual maturity that will not fail during the trials of the last days. To this end, we trust that our articles and the ensuing discussion will help our readers and contributors to —

  • have a right conception of His character, government, and purposes,
  • fortify their minds with the truths of the Bible
  • settle into the truth, both intellectually and spiritually, so they cannot be move
  • overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony

We sincerely hope that the truths we examine together online will translate into action in everyday life.

Relevant Quotations That Inspire Us:

Those who endeavor to obey all the commandments of God will be opposed and derided. They can stand only in God. In order to endure the trial before them, they must understand the will of God as revealed in His word; they can honor Him only as they have a right conception of His character, government, and purposes, and act in accordance with them. None but those who have fortified the mind with the truths of the Bible will stand through the last great conflict. To every soul will come the searching test: Shall I obey God rather than men? The decisive hour is even now at hand. Are our feet planted on the rock of God’s immutable word? Are we prepared to stand firm in defense of the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus?
(Ellen White in Great Controversy, p. 593)
Satan will work his miracles to deceive; he will set up his power as supreme. The church may appear as about to fall, but it does not fall. It remains, while the sinners in Zion will be sifted out—the chaff separated from the precious wheat. This is a terrible ordeal, but nevertheless it must take place. None but those who have been overcoming by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony will be found with the loyal and true, without spot or stain of sin, without guile in their mouths.
(Ellen White in Maranatha, p. 32)

Just as soon as the people of God are sealed in their foreheads—it is not any seal or mark that can be seen, but a settling into the truth, both intellectually and spiritually, so they cannot be moved—just as soon as God’s people are sealed and prepared for the shaking, it will come. Indeed, it has begun already; the judgments of God are now upon the land, to give us warning, that we may know what is coming. (Ellen White in Maranatha, p. 200)
