1. Have a volunteer read John 14:8,9

c. Personal Application : In what way is it healthy and advantageous to be afraid of God? Share your thoughts.
d. Case Study : One of your relatives states: “If Jesus and God loves everyone, why isn’t everyone going to be saved? Why shouldn’t they be afraid because of the second death and God’s wrath?” How would you respond to your relative?
2. Have a volunteer read John 1:1-3, 14.
a. Ask class members to share a short thought on what the most important point is in this passage.
b. What does this tell us about who Jesus is?
c. Personal Application: How does it make you feel to know that not only is Jesus our Savior and God, but that He also took on our flesh and nature? Share your thoughts.
d. Case Study : One of your friends states, “I don’t see how Jesus could be God and be human as well. If He became like us, He would have fallen like us because our nature is weak and sinful. He must not have been like us.” How would you respond to your friend?
3. Have a volunteer read Romans 10:9-13.
a. Ask class members to share a short thought on what the main idea of this text is.
b. How can predestination be misunderstood and misapplied by some?
c. Personal Application: What do you think about the fact that God chose you to be saved? Share your thoughts.
d. Case Study: One of your neighbors states, “If someone is lost, is it because God didn’t choose them, or because of the choices that they made? How about those who live in countries or areas where the gospel might not be heard or the people have been indoctrinated into some other type of religion?” How would you respond to your neighbor?
4. Have a volunteer read Revelation 14:6,7.

b. Why are the three angel’s messages for the last days called the everlasting gospel?
c. Personal Application : Why is the everlasting gospel found in Revelation 14 so important especially in the last days? Share your thoughts.
d. Case Study : Think of one person who needs to hear a message from this week’s lesson. Tell the class what you plan to do this week to share with them.
