There are many hymns to choose as theme hymns for the Second Quarter of 2020. Here are just two, the first being
Hymn 272, Give Me the Bible, followed by 
Hymn 277, For Your Holy Book We Thank You.

It is because of the Bible that we gather together for study:
Hymn 60, Blessed Jesus at Thy Word.

The memory verse for this week thanks God without ceasing – 

Now Thank We All Our God, Hymn 559. The text goes on to say God’s word is effective in you who believe – 
I Know Whom I Have Believed, Hymn 511. The Sabbath afternoon reading states that we are to approach the Bible in faith – 
My Faith Looks Up to Thee, Hymn 517 and 
O for a Faith, Hymn 533.

God used the Holy Spirit to inspire devoted, Godly men, to write the scriptures, and we today ask for the Holy Spirit as we read these sacred words: 
Hymn 680, Holy Spirit, Hear Us and Hymn 266, Spirit of God.

The Process of Inspiration (Monday) is shown in 
Thy Hand, O God Has Guided, Hymn 351.

It is clear on Tuesday that the written word will last, compared to the spoken word. The written word will be shared much more, in fact vastly more, compared to the spoken word alone. I question, 
Is My Name Written There? from the pre-1985 SDA Hymnal number 617.

Jesus Christ and Scripture, on Wednesday, I hear ringing down through the Sabbath Schools in 
Jesus Loves Me This I Know, Hymn 190.

On Thursday we have two hymns, 
My Faith Looks Up to Thee, Hymn 517 and 
O for a Faith, Hymn 533. The power of God is revealed in the Bible as in verse 3 of 
Hymn 111, It Took a Miracle.

As we close the study for this week, the hymn resounds so clearly is 
In Times Like These, Hymn 593.

2 Timothy 2:15 KJV – “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
