1. Have a volunteer read 2 Peter 1:19-21.
- Ask class members to share a thought on what the most important point in this text is.
- How does Peter express his conviction about the origin of the Biblical prophetic messages?
- Personal Application: What would happen if one came to distrust or even question the Divine origin of the Bible? Share your thoughts.
- Case Study: One of your relatives states: “What assurances do you have that the Bible is true and trustworthy? Why are you so sure the Bible is accurate and from God? How would you respond to your relative?
2. Have a volunteer read 2 Timothy 3:16,17.
