1: Rebellion in a Perfect Universe – Singing with Inspiration
The theme hymn for this quarter’s studies “On Death, Dying and the FUTURE HOPE” is
Hymn 214 – We Have This Hope.
The amazing wonders of creation by our loving God is found in
Hymn 320 – Lord of Creation. The love of God is like no other:
Hymn 76 – O Love That Wilt Not Let Me Go,
Hymn 77 – O Love of God Most Full,
Hymn 78 – For God So Loved Us,
Hymn 79 – O Love of God, How Strong and True!,
Hymn 148 – O Love How Deep How Broad,
Hymn 162 – Wondrous Love,
Hymn 354 – Thy Love O God, and
Hymn 349 – God Is Love, just to name a few.
We see pride get in the way of Lucifer’s perfect creation (Tuesday), and then onward to humanity. The results, we can all see, are catastrophic as is found in
Hymn 5 – All My Hope On God Is Founded verse 2 with God giving us power to endure and overcome. Thankfully, our adoration of God leaves no room for pride:
Hymn 32 – When in Our Music God is Glorified verse 1. Further help comes from our Gracious God in
Hymn 154/155 – When I Survey the Wondrous Cross with the words “and pour contempt on all my pride”.
On Thursday, it is “Christ’s decisive victory at the cross” (and His rising from the grave) that gives us the last hymns for this week:
Hymn 340 – Jesus Saves,
Hymn 362 – Lift High the Cross,
Hymn 159 – The Old Rugged Cross,
Hymn 163 – At the Cross, and then story continues with
Christ Is Alive – Hymn 182 and
Hymn 166 – Christ the Lord Is Risen Today so that
When We All Get To Heaven – Hymn 633 we are then able to “sing and shout the victory” because of wonderful Jesus’ Love for us.

2 Timothy 2:15 KJV – “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
