1: Rhythms of Life – Singing with Inspiration
We have just completed studying the last book of the Bible and now start at the very beginning in Genesis 1 which shows that God created:
“All Things Bright and Beautiful” – Hymn 93 including families,
Hymn 650, “Our Father, by Whose Name”.
Hymn 75, “The Wonder of It All” renders us The Rhythms of Life for Monday.
Wednesday we find the dramatic change in Saul would have him singing with us:
“Jesus Is All The World To Me” – Hymn 185.
On Thursday, “the family and family relationships are so crucial to our existence”:
Hymn 655, “Happy the Home” and
Hymn 654, “Lord, Bless Our Homes”. Romans 15:7 asks us to receive one another just as does
Hymn 651, “Happy the Home That Welcomes You”. The further Bible texts on Thursday request us to be kind and tender hearted, forgiving, loving one another, confessing our sins and praying are shown in
Hymn 579, “ ‘Tis Love That Makes Us Happy”.
Hymn 494, “We Would See Jesus” will help us to be like the disciples whose characters showed they had been with Jesus. (Matthew 26:73 and Acts 4:13) as in Friday’s reading.
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
