10: God’s Everlasting Gospel – Teaching Plan
Key Thought: At the time of the end, God sounds the warning messages to the world symbolized by three angels flying in the midst of heaven.

1. Have a volunteer read Revelation 14:6,7.
- Ask class members to share a thought on what the most important point in this text is.
- What is the everlasting gospel? Who is the angel that gives this message?
(Note: An angel is a messenger. The SDA church is the messenger God uses to give these messages to the world.) - Personal Application: How do we fear God and give glory to Him? Share your thoughts.
(Note: Fearing God is in obedience. Eccl. 12:13, Psalm 111:10. Giving glory to Him is in how we live, speak, and what we eat and drink. (Phil 3:19, Prov. 23:20, Romans 12:1,2, I Cor. 10:31.) - Case Study: One of your relatives states: “How do you know when these messages were to be given? Hasn’t the everlasting gospel been given since Jesus came over 2,000 years ago?” How would you respond to your relative?
(Note: The hour of His judgment is/has come. A specific time for judgment. Daniel 8:14 with Daniel 9:24-27 shows us from 457BC (Ezra 7:7-11) to 1844 is the beginning of judgment and the beginning of the prophesying of the three angels)
2. Have a volunteer read Revelation 14:8
- Ask class members to share a short thought on what the most important point is in this passage.
- Who is Babylon here, and why is the message that she has fallen?
- Personal Application: Why do some church members believe that we can encourage others to stay in their churches and be safe from end-time delusions because they believe in Jesus? Share your thoughts.
- Case Study: One of your friends states, “What is this wine of the wrath of her fornication that Babylon makes all nations drink of?” How would you respond to your friend?
(Note: Wine represents doctrine. She has a false gospel and false teachings. Alcohol makes people reel back and forth, addled and confused. They are tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.)
3. Have a volunteer read Revelation 14:9-12
- Ask class members to share a short thought on what the main idea of this text is.
- What is the wine of the wrath of God which is poured out without mixture?
(Note: See Revelation 15:1, Rev 16:1) - Personal Application: What does it mean to have no rest for those who receive the mark of the beast? Share your thoughts.
- Case Study: One of your neighbors states, “How can I keep from receiving the mark of the beast? I have faith in Jesus. I accepted Him many years ago, and Jesus always tells us not to be afraid. Do why should I worry about the mark of the beast?” How would you reply to your neighbor?
4. Have a volunteer read Revelation 13:14,15.
- Ask class members to share a short thought on what the main idea of this text is.
- What is this image to the beast that the second beast wants the world to make?
- Personal Application: How is our view of Creation and Salvation related? Why is it important to rest on the Sabbath day as God did? Share your thoughts.
- Case Study: Think of one person who needs to hear a message from this week’s lesson. Tell the class what you plan to do this week to share with them.
