11 End-time Deceptions – Singing with Inspiration
The theme hymn for this quarter’s studies “On Death, Dying and the FUTURE HOPE” is
Hymn 214 – We Have This Hope.
The studies we have completed so far are reverberating in
Hymn 203 – This Is The Threefold Truth and will do through to the end of this quarter.
To help us avoid all deceptions, we look to God’s Word:
Hymn 272 – Give Me The Bible so that we are then able to be found
Standing On The Promises – Hymn 518.
God’s Word, the Bible, helps us to be seen as
Built on the Rock – Hymn 347 and to promise that
We’ll Build On The Rock – Hymn 531 (Sunday) showing that “we stick firmly to the teaching of the Word of God” (Monday).
Tuesday once again shows that we need to adhere to the Bible:
Hymn 272 – Give Me The Bible.
Rather than necromancy and ancestor worship (Wednesday), even Isaiah asks “should not a people seek their God?” just as we sing in
Hymn 603 – Christian, Seek Not Repose.
May we always be found “Grounded firm and deep in the Savior’s love”:
Hymn 534 – Will Your Anchor Hold? (Thursday). Ephesians 6:13 encourages us to be clad in “the whole armor of God” as does
Hymn 572 – Give Of Your Best To The Master, Hymn 594 – Heir Of The Kingdom (verse 1) and
Hymn 605 – My Soul, Be On Thy Guard. We are then “sheltered by God and grounded in God’s Word”:
Hymn 529 – Under His Wings (verse 3) and “Grounded firm and deep in the Savior’s love”:
Hymn 534 – Will Your Anchor Hold?
Today we look forward to Jesus coming again. Oh, what a day that will be
When We All Get To Heaven – Hymn 633 because
That Glorious Day Is Coming – Hymn 209.
