  1. I liked the thought about the disciples being in their father’s trade before Jesus chose them, I never thought about it that way. Jesus also worked at His father’s trade, and therefore could relate very well to the common man. However, He was also about His Father’s business – also working the trade of His Father in heaven. Just a beautiful thought that enriches my knowledge of Him.

    Thank you for these videos. It doesn’t look like too many people take advantage of watching them and that is too bad because they are so well produced and make such good points giving me a new perspective on Bible topics. I hope more people discover them, I for one will encourage others to check them out and I will keep coming back for more. God Bless your ministry. Tammy

At a camp meeting 40 years later, I happened to see Dr. I. demonstrating some kind of health product, if I remember correctly. (In my mind, I see only the image of him, much older, but still looking much like he did when I was a student, with a friend by my side.) I lingered a little but did not introduce myself. I briefly wondered whether he recognized me. I’m fairly sure that I was as recognizable to him as he was to me.

Had he changed? Or did he still feel superior in his “humility”? Should I talk to him? I didn’t know how to approach him, and was busy with friends. I still don’t know whether I should have said something. (Maybe I’m just a coward.)

If God wants him to see my story, his and my identity are clear enough in this post, that God can direct him to it.
