1. Have a volunteer read Exodus 35:1-3, Hebrews 8:1-6.
- Ask class members to share a short thought on what the most important point is in this passage.
- What truth was reiterated to the people here in the context of building the sanctuary?
- Personal Application: What important role does the Sabbath have in the life of our church family? Share your thoughts.
- Case Study: One of your relatives states, “How does the earthly sanctuary reveal to us what Jesus is doing for us in the heavenly sanctuary? I thought that when Jesus died on the cross, the whole thing was over. ” How would you respond to your relative?
2. Have a volunteer read Exodus 35:4-36:7.
- Ask class members to share a thought on what the most important point in this text is.
- What important lessons are here for us today?
- Personal Application: What spiritual gifts have you received when you were filled with the Holy Spirit? Share your thoughts.
- Case Study: One of your friends states, “How do we know what our spiritual gifts are? How are we supposed to cultivate our spiritual gifts? Are they different from the fruits of the spirit and natural talents?” How would you respond to your friend?
3. Have a volunteer read Exodus 40:34-38.
