I am incredibly excited as I study the letter to the Ephesians. My attention was caught by reading Eph.1:3-14 and the depth of the spiritual revelations it contains. After listening to Dr. McVay’s expounding further on this passage, I am compelled to encourage everyone to listen to his video presentation.
It highlights the immense importance to help us come to a better understanding of what it means to have made known to us ‘the mystery of His {God's] Will’, that ‘in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ - Eph.1:8-10.
I can now understand much better why it is that God unites, gathers 'all things' in Christ. It is because:
Col.1:15-17 - “For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.”
This is why, when the dispensation of the fullness of time comes to an end, nothing which is not found in Christ can remain in heaven or earth; including thrones, dominions, principalities, or powers – all which is in Christ will be save - including the faithful.
