The Resurrection

Do the Scriptures teach that we go to heaven the moment we die? Let’s look.  Did the angel tell Daniel he would die and go straight to heaven? No, he told Daniel he would rest and then rise again at the end of the days, at the second coming. As for you, go your way … Continue reading –>

Death of Aaron

Daily Lesson for Monday 3rd of June 2024 Read Psalms 6:5, Psalms 115:17, 1 Kings 2:10, 1 Kings 11:43, and 1 Kings 14:20. What do these verses teach about the state of the dead? Sunday: The Deadly Consequences of Spiritualism

Sabbath School Net Posted on June 1, 2024 by Sabbath School LessonJune 2, 2024avatar
Witch of Endor and Saul

Daily Lesson for Sunday 2nd of June 2024 The fable that death is really just entrance to a new stage of life is based on the concept of the soul’s natural immortality. This pagan idea infiltrated the church early on as it moved away from its biblical foundations in an attempt to make its faith … Continue reading –>

At a camp meeting 40 years later, I happened to see Dr. I. demonstrating some kind of health product, if I remember correctly. (In my mind, I see only the image of him, much older, but still looking much like he did when I was a student, with a friend by my side.) I lingered a little but did not introduce myself. I briefly wondered whether he recognized me. I’m fairly sure that I was as recognizable to him as he was to me.

Had he changed? Or did he still feel superior in his “humility”? Should I talk to him? I didn’t know how to approach him, and was busy with friends. I still don’t know whether I should have said something. (Maybe I’m just a coward.)

If God wants him to see my story, his and my identity are clear enough in this post, that God can direct him to it.
