5: The Conversion of Paul – Singing with Inspiration
Our theme of:
Hymn 378, “Go, Preach My Gospel” is in our memory verse this week as is proclaiming the Name in:
Hymn 411, “The Son of God Proclaim”. God’s grace to Paul had not been in vain:
Hymn 109, “Marvelous Grace”.
On Sunday we find Saul/Paul is shaliah – “one who is sent”, first by the Sanhedrin, the by Jesus Christ:
Hymn 578, “So Send I You”.
On Tuesday in Acts 22:10, :”What shall I do, Lord?” this is answered by Paul in:
Hymn 573, “I’ll Go Where You Want Me to Go”
and Paul went on boldly as the “most devoted an prolific apostle”:
“Give of Your Best to the Master”, Hymn 572.
Following Paul’s dramatic talk with Jesus on the road to Damascus, his respite in Arabia, and knowing he would the face challenges (Acts 9:16), he would be able to join us in:
Hymn 523, “My Faith Has Found a Resting Place”.
Paul could finally do as did Stephen:
“My Faith Looks Up to Thee”, Hymn 517.
May the Lord bless you and keep you
May the Lord make His face to shine upon you
And give you peace
Amen
