1. Have a volunteer read I Corinthians 6:9, 19,20..
- Ask class members to share a thought on what the most important point in this text is.
- What is the Biblical view of the human body?
- Personal Application: How do society and media degrade sexuality in our culture? Share your thoughts.
- Case Study: One of your relatives states: “Effeminates and gays have no choice. God made them like that. Many churches understand that and accept them as members of the Christian church. The Adventists are behind the times with this issue, as well as other issues.” How would you respond to your relative?
2. Have a volunteer read 1 Corinthians 7:3-5.
- Ask class members to share a short thought on what the most important point is in this passage.
- How does the Bible present a commitment to mutuality in the intimate life of the married couple?
- Personal Application: How does the description of the marriage union as knowing one another enrich our understanding of our relationship with God? Share your thoughts.
- Case Study: One of your friends states, “A woman has control of her own body. If she doesn’t want to have sex or sleep with her husband; too bad for him. She doesn’t have to do anything unless she feels like it. If he doesn’t like it, he can leave.” How would you respond to your friend?
3. Have a volunteer read Song of Solomon 4:9-12.

- What does it mean to be a wall or a door as a young woman?
- Personal Application: Have you ever been in a relationship you regretted and wished had never happened? Share your thoughts.
- Case Study: One of your neighbors states, “I think most young boys have their first sexual experience for experimentation and that first relationship doesn’t last. Many girls are pressed for sex, and for love’s sake, give in; but regrets it later and usually doesn’t end up with the guy she sleeps with.”” How would you reply to your neighbor?
4. Have a volunteer read I Corinthians 6:9,10.
