    • Unselfish love! Here is a summary from John:

      My beloved friends, let us continue to love each other since love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and experiences a relationship with God. The person who refuses to love doesn’t know the first thing about God, because God is love—so you can’t know him if you don’t love. This is how God showed his love for us: God sent his only Son into the world so we might live through him. This is the kind of love we are talking about—not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they’ve done to our relationship with God.

      11-12 My dear, dear friends, if God loved us like this, we certainly ought to love each other. No one has seen God, ever. But if we love one another, God dwells deeply within us, and his love becomes complete in us—perfect love! 1 John 4:7-12 MSG

  2. Regarding the “Foundation of God’s Government” –
    What testimony is being established when we love unselfishly?
    Is applying ‘unselfish love’ the heart of the ‘Ten Commandments’.
    Does it teach us to love and trust God?
    When living by the Spirit of the Law, what does this testify to?
    Why is it so very important for our Creator God that, by His Laws, man learns and understands that He loves us?

    Considering these questions, my conclusion is that by/when we believe that God loves us, we are enabled to trust and love Him and are not afraid to become vulnerable when loving one another. By believing, we testify to that which He promised us from the Beginning - that it is HE who takes ‘care of/sustains’ us, not we ourselves! Letting go of worries about how to live 'safely' will change our perspective about our fellow man – he will become our brother/sister instead of our competitor.

    Lucifer does not want man to know and accept this Truth! He rather wants man to think that life needs to be self-focused to be safe; telling us that we should choose what is best for us - govern our life by our own will.
    The Truth is that: all that is good and sustains life is a gift from our heavenly Father - James 1:17. Lucifer wants man to live a self-willed/self-centered life, shifting 'glory' to us because he does not want us to know that it is God’s Glory which is manifested when we do ‘that which is good and right in God's eyes’ – Eph.2:10; 2 Cor.5:17.

    Lucifer’s lies cover up and distort this Truth that man does not/cannot achieve true liberty, freedom, and happiness without his Creator Father. Adherence to the Spirt of the Law of God - Love - giving up self-reliance, self-promotion, self-centeredness -, will bring about inner peace. We will experience His Way and His Way leading to everlasting Life – Phil.4:19; Matt.7:9-11.
