Wednesday: Constant Watchfulness — 6 Comments

  1. As children of our heavenly father we are always to be walking in the light as He is in the light; awake, oriented and alert. We cannot become entangled with the cares of life and our culture. Christ, Christianity and culture cannot mix, because we will be fooled and become trapped. We have a set time for everything in our life and family except quality time with our heavenly father. Is He not important in our lives as anything else? Because we are Laodiceans we have a special task to do. We have great light but we are not walking in the light. We have to buy gold tried in fire, white raiment and to have our eyes anointed. If we do not have these three, we will be walking in the darkness as in the night and we will stumble.

  2. It is interesting learning more about God, we should not sleep (don't even start sleeping) we should be like a military guide who has to be awake day & night- watchfulness meaning we have to be always busy preparing for the Second coming of Christ at all times! God is good because we are given a guideline, & there is light in the parthways as he is the light and at all times!

  3. As children of light not of darkeness we should prepare our mindset that any moment from now Christ is soon gonna return so let us be in constant watchfulness.

  4. We are privileged as Seventh day adventists to have the light, let us use the light we have to the glory of the Father. The warning in John 12:35-36 should be taken seriously, the Lord say walk in light whilst you have lest darkness catches up with you and soon there will be a famine in land of the word of God which the lamp unto every believer's feet Amos 8:12-13; Psalm 119:105. May the Lord help us to watch and pray, may He dwell in each Adventist in His fullness.
