I recently became a Seventh Day Adventist at the age of 60 I’ve now been into the ministry of your teaching for at least 10 years now as I study the word of God Through the Bible I trust the Holy Spirit who is the teacher according to the word to God and direct and reveal to me what it is God is saying to me through the scriptures I like watching Hope Sabbath School on television because it just gives me a confirmation from which the Holy Spirit has already revealed it makes me feel connected to God I thank God for this ministry and I pray that he continues to keep it going so others may have the opportunity to learn who they are in Christ Jesus

At a camp meeting 40 years later, I happened to see Dr. I. demonstrating some kind of health product, if I remember correctly. (In my mind, I see only the image of him, much older, but still looking much like he did when I was a student, with a friend by my side.) I lingered a little but did not introduce myself. I briefly wondered whether he recognized me. I’m fairly sure that I was as recognizable to him as he was to me.

Had he changed? Or did he still feel superior in his “humility”? Should I talk to him? I didn’t know how to approach him, and was busy with friends. I still don’t know whether I should have said something. (Maybe I’m just a coward.)

If God wants him to see my story, his and my identity are clear enough in this post, that God can direct him to it.
