Singing with Inspiration – Lesson 8: Who Is the Man of Romans 7?
Our first hymn comes from the Sabbath afternoon study:
Hymn 412, “Cover With His Life” – “Jesus’ righteousness covers us”
Monday continues with discussing the Ten Commandments:
Hymn 590, “Trust and Obey” and
Hymn 447, “Long Upon the Mountains”. The third verse of
Hymn 394, “Far From All Care” also raises our thoughts to the Ten Commandments.
On Monday, Paul is trying to have the Jewish peoples – who revere the “law” – to see Jesus:
Hymn 494, “We Would See Jesus”.
Hymn 340, “Jesus Saves” is the theme of Tuesday’s study. Paul then goes on to say he is a slave to sin:
Hymn 295, “Chief of Sinners”.
Wednesday we find “victory is possible in Jesus Christ”:
Hymn 608, “Faith Is the Victory”. This is said once again at the end of Thursday’s study.
“Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ”. – Romans 1:
