03: The Holy Spirit – Lesson Plan — 2 Comments

  1. I think the Omega of the apostasy is the denial of the divinity of the Holy Spirit. The Adventist Church today is faced with dissident groups who insit that the worship and acceptance of the Holy Spirit as God is idolatry. This is one of the most powerful deceptions of the last days in view of the fact that the Church depends on the acting of the Holy Spirit. Without Him life itself is impossible. The prince of darkness knows that the Adventist Church is awaiting an extraordinary manifestation of the Holy Spirit called the latter rain who will enable the church to conclude its work of evangelization and warning to a perishing world. So this is the main reason for the denial of the deity of the Holy Spirit. Great care is required!

  2. Amen Francisco !

I knew there was turmoil in the understanding of the Holy Spirit , The Holy Trinity and the Nature of God amongst Christians but this lesson has truly outlined it ...

I wonder going through the comments on the lessons daily if we are aware that the fight is not against flesh and blood and that the ONE goal of Satan is to misrepresent the TRUE nature of God in the minds of mankind. We've forgotten the sensitivity of arguing our perspective versus what the bible says , and blasphemed the Holy Spirit which is said to unforgivable ( Acts 5:3-4 )... The gravity of this is immense ...

I thank the Holy Spirit of God for bringing to remembrance this important truth of our Doctrine through you .

May we not grieve the Holy Spirit by doubting His importance or position. Let's await the latter rain with baited breath and continue to Pray fervently for His descent , humility for understanding and also to acknowledge the limitations of our finite minds.

A blessed Sabbath to you reading this from Chilly Cape Town ,South Africa :) .
