Singing with Inspiration – Lesson 9: No Condemnation — 2 Comments

  1. Thank you Corinne for your selections of hymns that put a song in my heart to help me worship God each day. There are two other hymns that are not in the Church Hymnal but are worth singing –
(they can be searched on the internet)
“I stand amazed in the presence of Jesus the Nazareen” (also known as “How Marvelous How Wonderful” or “Amazing Love”)
and the other is “Jesus, You are changing me”
May God bless you as you continue with melodies for the heart.

  2. Hi Joy 🙂

These are wonderful songs to sing!! Yes. Thank you for sharing.

I wish there were more wonderful songs in our SDA Hymnal so we may choose these and put them up as well.

It is so good to hear that a song is put in your heart. Praise God!

Blessings to you as you sing your praises to the Lord. We will join together very soon in Heaven.

Come, Lord, Jesus. Come very soon

At a camp meeting 40 years later, I happened to see Dr. I. demonstrating some kind of health product, if I remember correctly. (In my mind, I see only the image of him, much older, but still looking much like he did when I was a student, with a friend by my side.) I lingered a little but did not introduce myself. I briefly wondered whether he recognized me. I’m fairly sure that I was as recognizable to him as he was to me.

Had he changed? Or did he still feel superior in his “humility”? Should I talk to him? I didn’t know how to approach him, and was busy with friends. I still don’t know whether I should have said something. (Maybe I’m just a coward.)

If God wants him to see my story, his and my identity are clear enough in this post, that God can direct him to it.
