THIS! This is how our Sabbath school lessons should be written! Mrs. Atcheson has presented a set of lessons that are profound and hits straight to the heart, but are so beautifully and simply written that they are a pure joy to study! I have gained such a blessing from these studies! Even the discussion questions at the end are a blessing with her Bible texts! I am not trying to insult anyone and mean no disrespect! But so many times in the past, it seems the author of the studies is sometimes too busy trying to show how intelligent he is and uses superfluous language and makes the lesson harder to follow than it should be. And I rarely read the discussion questions at the end because they end up being redundant or sometimes even on the ridiculous side. I apologize if that sounds harsh, I am not trying to be mean! I am just being honest and this is certainly only my opinion! I just feel like if you are going to write a Sabbath school lesson for ‘all’ people, then you need to write it so that ‘all’ people can enjoy it and get some spiritual food from it. You’re not writing an essay for a class to be graded, you are writing something for people from all walks of life, cultures and levels of relationships with God. It needs to be able to reach everyone and to touch their hearts and open them for the Holy Spirit. I believe Mrs. Atcheson has definitely achieved this! Thank you!
