David Bissell grew up in Washington State and graduated from Auburn Academy, then studied theology at Emmanuel Missionary College (Andrews University) and became a pastor. He served the church for about 40 years as a pastor, bible teacher and college professor. He has celebrated 56 with his lovely wife, and they have 3 sons and 8 grandchildren. They retired in Collegedale, TN. Besides loving the Bible and Ellen White's writings, he loves music, logging, playing racquetball and pickleball.
