1. Have a volunteer read Luke 19:10, James 5:19,20.
- Ask class members to share a thought on what the most important point in this text is.
- What does Luke’s gospel teach about Christ’s purpose in coming to earth?
- Personal Application: How many people have heard the gospel from your own lips? Share your thoughts.
- Case Study: One of your relatives states: “What is our role in God’s plan of redeeming the human race? What are we supposed to do?” How would you respond to your relative?
2. Have a volunteer read John 7:37,38.
- Ask class members to share a short thought on what the most important point is in this passage.
- What have been your own experiences in witnessing to others, praying with others, and ministering to the needs of others?
- Personal Application: How have these experiences impacted your own faith? Share your thoughts.
- Case Study: One of your friends states, “Can our service or witnessing become a substitute for true spirituality and relationship with Christ?” How would you respond to your friend?
3. Have a volunteer read I Timothy 2:3,4.
- Ask class members to share a short thought on what the main idea of this text is.
- What does this tell us about God’s heart and priority?
- Personal Application: What are the dangers to a local church if it becomes inwardly focused? Share your thoughts.
- Case Study: One of your neighbors states, “What are some things you have learned about ministering and witnessing that can help others?” How would you respond to your neighbor?
4. Have a volunteer read 2 Corinthians 5:14,15, 18-20..

- What motivated Paul to experience trials and tribulations for the sake of the gospel?
- Personal Application: How can the example of Paul motivate our prompt service for Christ? Share your thoughts.
- Case Study: Think of one person who needs to hear a message from this week’s lesson. Tell the class what you plan to do this week to share with them.
