2: Pentecost – Singing with Inspiration
My apologies that the hymns are late for this week.
Sunday – The Holy Spirit descended to the brand new church and so we ask for that now:
Hymn 269, “Come, Holy Spirit” and
Hymn 268, “Holy Spirit, Light Divine”.
Monday –
Hymn 250, “O for a Thousand Tongues to Sing” and
Hymn 81, “Though I Speak With Tongues”.
Tuesday Peter’s sermon brings out the wonderful story of the resurrection of Jesus:
Hymn 526, “Because He Lives”.
On Wednesday, there are two hymns that remind us that Jesus is exalted:
Hymn 166, “Christ the Lord Is Risen Today”,
Hymn 230, “All Glory, Laud, and Honor
Forgiveness is shown on Thursday in
Hymn 299, “Forgive Our Sins as We Forgive”.
May the Lord bless you and keep you
May the Lord make His face to shine upon you
And give you peace
Amen
Revelation1:7 (NKJV)
“Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him . . . .”

Corinne , We, you and I, have a musical background, and a vivid appreciation of music, and I think may have shared comments in the past. I like the selections of favorite hymns that you have chosen. God gave us this ability for which I am thankful for, as often as possible. Blessings Corrine!
Hi Paul
Lovely to hear from you
Yes, we do share the love of that beautiful gift of music which God gave to us....some to play, some to sing, some to sit, listen and appreciate.
All hymns presented are asked for by God's guidance. Sometimes, I am totally stumped, will read and re-read the weeks study, until God prompts and the flood gates may open.
May I encourage you to keep sharing this wonderful gift with everyone you come in contact with. We may not be able to preach like Paul, but music is an awesome way of presenting the love of Jesus to everyone.
Blessings to you for a wonderful week ahead
Corinne
