5: Jesus As the Master Teacher – Teaching Plan
Key Thought: In sending His Son to earth, the Father sent the Master Teacher on a mission, to show humankind His character. What can we learn from the Master Teacher?

A. Have a volunteer read John 1:14,18. John 14:9.

- What are the consequences of Christ becoming a human being?
- Personal Application: What do Jesus’ birth, life, and death tell us about the Father? Share your thoughts.
- Case Study: One of your relatives states: “Why did Jesus say that if you’ve seen Him, you have seen the Father? Jesus and the Father are two separate persons, so why did He say that?” How would you respond to your relative?
B. Have a volunteer read Philippians 2:6-11. Philippians 4:2,3.

D. Have a volunteer read Luke 2:1-12.
