Our memory text encourages us to act as the healed blind man and sing I Will Follow Thee – Hymn 623.
Sadly, temptation caught Adam and Eve out. We can request from God,
I Need Thee Every Hour – Hymn 483. Rather than hiding as did Adam and Eve, it is wiser for us to be 
Hiding in Thee – Hymn 525. We are very thankful that
There Is a Fountain – Hymn 336 to cleanse our guilty stains.
The Master Teacher is willing to teach all who are eager to listen, as was Bartimaeus. We see this in
Hymn 60 – Blessed Jesus, at Thy Word. As did the disciples, Bartimaeus followed Jesus –
I Will Follow Thee – Hymn 623.
As with all education, we are to learn to
Trust and Obey – Hymn 590.
