  1. Thank you for this great article. I too struggle with this "fear" at times. Some think it's about "self" esteem. I disagree. I know that when I start to feel fearful, it's because I'm thinking too much of self and not enough about Christ. When I start to feel twinges of doubt and uncertainty, I know that I must surrender control of everything to Christ again and trust that His Holy Spirit will do what I cannot do. Thanks again, for this article and for the encouragement!

  2. I love the Michael Jordan quote that you ended this blog post with—what an inspiring couple of sentences! It's so easy to back down and not try something for fear of failing, but all that does is create regret. Thank you for reminding me that regardless of whether I fail or succeed, the important thing is that I tried and that I gave it my all.

  4. I thank the Lord for a comment like this for it calls for introspection. I sometime console myself that I am sent only to my fellow church mates, to partake in church activities only. I will keep trying and asking the Lord to help me reach out and tell someone. But please pray for me that I find the field. Be blessed.

    • I am learning that I can trust God to prompt me when to seek to help or "witness" to others. Often it is asking me to serve others, at home, or work, or at church. Often it seems scary, or unpleasant, but I realize Christ came to serve, not to be served and I am called to do the same.

I believe God wants us to grow our influence with others, and in serving them, seeking to meet their needs, God is preparing me to speak a word in season to them.

As our SS lessons have been telling us, If we spend time with God, and allow His Spirit to fill us, that Spirit brings Love, not for us to just enjoy, but to give away. Like the song says, what the world needs now is (God's devine) love, sweet love - for everyone.

      Blessings

  5. Thank you William for this challenging and encouraging article. I too often keep silent for fear of rejection but doing so has left a gnawing pain deep in my soul that won't go away. Or not least until I face it, and conquer it, trusting in God. Pray for me that I do so.

    God bless

  8. I thank God that people have found in this post the encouragement to overcome their fears and share Jesus. Remember, his biddings are His enablings, and He has promised to be with us as we preach the gospel until He returns to take us home. Happy Sabbath everyone!

  10. A study in human conduct in which the investigator imagines herself or himself engaged in the conduct. I do believe Williams study touched our hearts positively.

  11. Elijah feared for his life even though GOD was with him. Fear can make us not to achieve so many things. Your article has been inspiring and how I pray that the lord may remove fear in us and give us strength and confidence to witness and evangelise.
