Lesson 13 – Singing With Inspiration: Christian Living
As I am writing this, it is Christmas Day. I do pray that the Lord has blessed you with a safe Christmas and that you will go on to have a Happy New Year in 2018.
This weeks’ lesson instructs us in our Christian Living in Romans chapters 14 – 16:
Hymn 617, “We are living, we are dwelling, in a grand and awful time.”
Sabbath afternoon’s lesson encourages us to have “the Bible alone as the standard of faith
Hymn 272, “Give Me the Bible”.
Sunday – To help those who are “Weak in Faith”, one may choose to sing
Hymn 517, “My Faith Looks Up to Thee”.
The topic for Christmas Day is “Before the Judgment Seat”. There are two hymns that will enlighten the understanding for this:
Hymn 416, “The Judgment Has Set” and
Hymn 418, “Day of Judgment, Day of Wonders!”.
May we continue to observe the Sabbath Day as we are instructed in Wednesday’s lesson study:
Hymn 381, “Holy Sabbath Day of Rest” and
Hymn 388, “Don’t Forget the Sabbath”.
As Paul closes his letter to the Romans with praise to God, may we close 2017 with:
Hymn 694, “Praise God, From Whom All Blessings Flow”.
“Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ”. – Romans 1:7
