Living the Law – Hit the Mark Sabbath School — 2 Comments

    • That is a very easy statement to make Joseph. But, what does perfection mean? Theologians have been arguing that one for centuries, and clearly have not come to a concensus. I take refuge in the fact that God through his prophets has let us know that some pretty unsavoury characters are his people. Adulterousm, murdering, King David is called a man after my own heart by God. That does not excuse sin but reveals the compassion of God.

This is not a very good illustration but I think it makes a point. If you sprinkle metal filings near a magnet, the iron filings, rough and sharp from their previous experience, allign with the magnetic field. Despite their appearance they are perfectly magnetic. Don't try to extrapolate this illustration. I am simply trying to illustrate that outward appearance sometimes hide where the heart is.
