Key Thought: Every person has a choice to accept the victory won by Christ, or to reject it and perish
1. Have a volunteer read Revelation 20:1-3.
a. Ask class members to share a thought on what the most important point in this text is.
b. What does the binding of Satan in the future tell us about what he is doing now?
c. Personal Application : Why do people deny the existence of Satan? How do you know he is real? Share your thoughts.
d. Case Study : One of your relatives states: “Where is this bottomless pit that Satan is bound in? Is that hell or sheol or someplace in space” How would you respond to your relative?
2. Have a volunteer read Revelation 20:7-15.
a. Ask class members to share a short thought on what the most important point is in this passage.
b. What purpose does this judgment serve in the great controversy?
c. Personal Application : How comforting is it to know that Satan and his demons and all unsaved will be utterly destroyed? Share your thoughts.
d. Case Study : One of your friends states, “Why didn’t God destroy Satan as soon as he rebelled against Him? Why was he allowed to tempt Adam and Eve and mislead so many angels in heaven?” How would you respond to your neighbor?
3. Have a volunteer read Revelation 21:1-5.
a. Ask class members to share a short thought on what the main idea of this text is.
b. What does it mean there is no more sea? Won’t there be any oceans or sea
Creatures in the new earth?
c. Personal Application: How can we get to know Jesus more fully and completely now to be ready when He comes? Share your thoughts.
d. Case Study : One of your neighbors states, “What will a new heaven and new earth be like? How different will it be from the only one we know now?” How would you respond to your neighbor?
4. Have a volunteer read Revelation 22:1-4.
a. Ask class members to share a short thought on what the main idea of this text is.
b. If there shall be no more curse, what was the curse that was made, and who was it made on?
c. Personal Application: What does it mean for you to have Jesus’ name in your forehead? Share your thoughts.
d. Case Study : Think of one person who needs to hear a message from this week’s lesson. Tell the class what you plan to do this week to share with them.
