Singing with Inspiration – Lesson 4: Justification by Faith
Welcome to Singing with Inspiration for the week commencing Sunday 22 October. What a milestone date this is in Church history.
Faith is a wonderful topic with so many beautiful hymns from which to choose, the first two coming to mind being:
Hymn 517, “My Faith Looks Up to Thee”, followed closely by
Hymn 523, “My Faith Has Found a Resting Place”.
These two hymns may be followed by:
Hymn 533, “O for a Faith”,
Hymn 304, “Faith of Our Fathers”,
Hymn 608, “Faith Is the Victory”, and
Hymn 602, “O Brother, Be Faithful”.
Monday talks of Righteousness giving us:
Hymn 177, “Jesus, Your Blood and Righteousness”.
This is followed on Tuesday by Grace with the old favourite hymn known around the world:
Hymn 108, “Amazing Grace”, or
Hymn 109, “Marvellous Grace.
Wednesday’s study comes back to
Hymn 177, “Jesus, Your Blood and Righteousness”.
The final thoughts for our lesson study lead us to trust our Lord Jesus in:
Hymn 279, “Only Trust Him” and
Hymn 524, “Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus”.
“Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ”. – Romans 1:7
