1. Have a volunteer read Galatians 6:1.

a. Ask class members to share a thought on what the most important point in this text is.
b. What does it mean to be “overtaken” by a fault?
c. Personal Application : Why do we tend to talk badly about someone we are angry with, stew in our anger, and even plan revenge? Share your thoughts.
d. Case Study : One of your relatives states: “What does a person’s attitude and choices have to do with being overtaken by a fault and deliberate, willful sin?” How would you respond to your relative?
2. Have a volunteer read Galatians 6:2-5.
a. Ask class members to share a short thought on what the most important point is in this passage.
b. How can we guard against a cold, critical, and indifferent spirit?
c. Personal Application : What keeps people from seeking help from others? Pride, shame, lack of trust, or a sense of self-sufficiency? Share your thoughts.
d. Case Study : One of your friends states, “Too many people have their attention on cell phones, computers, television, and electronic gadgets. The only help they are interested in giving is tech support for gamers and social media. I believe these things have desensitized us from the needs of others.” How would you respond to your friend?
3. Have a volunteer read Galatians 6:9,10.
a. Ask class members to share a short thought on what the main idea of this text is.
b. One person states, “I’ll give someone a ride where they want to go, but they have to pay for the gas.” Is this a fair attitude? Share your thoughts.
c. Personal Application: Have you ever got tired or frustrated in helping someone?
What was the cause? Share your thoughts.
d. Case Study: One of your neighbors states, “I know of a family that is helpful and nice to everyone, even strangers; but when it comes to their own church family, they just say, “Oh, they can take care of themselves. God will help them.” How would you respond to your neighbor?
4. Have a volunteer read Galatians 6:8.
a. Ask class members to share a short thought on what the main idea of this text is.
b. What does it mean to sow to the flesh and sow to the Spirit?
c. Personal Application : What is the greatest challenge that arises in bearing one another’s burdens? Is it a challenge of the flesh or Spirit? Share your thoughts.
d. Case Study : Think of one person who needs to hear a message from this week’s lesson. Tell the class what you plan to do this week to share with them.
