  1. You mention only Christ can raise the dead. What about Matthew 10:8 where Jesus told his twelve apostles to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers and raise the dead?

    • Thanks for your question Maryna. The context is concerning the resurrection to be taken to heaven, like Moses was and the dead will be at the second coming. Otherwise yes, Elijah and Peter and others raised the dead by the power of the Father. Jesus gave us an example of what is possible for us.

"Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I speak are not my own, but my Father who lives in me does his work through me Just believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Or at least believe because of the work you have seen me do. “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father." John 14:10-12 NLT

  2. Why does Daniel 10:13 describe Micheal (our first mention of this name) as "one of the chief princes" - would this be inaccurate to substitute Jesus's name here, as it would infer that the is others that are also the same rank? (Chief princes)???
You just can't ignore that term "one of" because it doesn't fit, can you???

    • Hi Don,

In Daniel 10:13 the word “one” is the Hebrew word “echad” meaning first or the leader. Like today we often call our head elders the first elder meaning lead elder or the leader of the church. Hence Daniel 10:13 tells us Michael is the first or the leader of the angels. This goes along with the term Archangel, arch meaning over. Michael is over the angels and the leader of the angels.
