13: Final Restoration of Unity – Teaching Plan — 1 Comment

  1. In contemplation of the books of Genesis and Hebrews and John we find a number issues that come to mind. One being Faith and trust. Romans12:3 and Hebrews 11:1-9 are some that we refer to. Enoch is mentioned as being translated, also Ezekiel, Elijah and probably Moses, because of their faith. It is interesting that these are in heaven now. I think I may overlooked one other. What is important is that God provides the faith that we need, Ephesians 2:8. We still question the strength of our faith at times. The Holy Spirit that promises help, is also an entity that we have difficulty in understanding as Spirit, pneuma, God. I have wondered did the authors of the bible know this information? We define it as breath, or current of air. We will be switching gears this new quarter in the book of Revelation. Time will tell so they say!

At a camp meeting 40 years later, I happened to see Dr. I. demonstrating some kind of health product, if I remember correctly. (In my mind, I see only the image of him, much older, but still looking much like he did when I was a student, with a friend by my side.) I lingered a little but did not introduce myself. I briefly wondered whether he recognized me. I’m fairly sure that I was as recognizable to him as he was to me.

Had he changed? Or did he still feel superior in his “humility”? Should I talk to him? I didn’t know how to approach him, and was busy with friends. I still don’t know whether I should have said something. (Maybe I’m just a coward.)

If God wants him to see my story, his and my identity are clear enough in this post, that God can direct him to it.
