Which Commandments are God’s Remnant Church Still Keeping?

Sabbath School Net Posted on March 29, 2023 by William EarnhardtApril 2, 2023avatar

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 12:17 KJV Years ago, I was having Bible studies with a Protestant family who believed the Ten Commandments were abolished in the … Continue reading –>

Thursday: God’s End-Time Remnant

Revelation 12: Woman and the Dragon

The devil has been at war with Christ since his rebellion in heaven (Revelation 12:7). Satan’s purpose then and his purpose now is to seize control of the universe (see Isaiah 14:12-14). The focus of his attention in the last days of earth’s history is upon God’s people. Revelation 12:17 emphatically declares that the dragon (Satan) was wroth (angry) with … Continue reading –>

Wednesday: The Woman in the Wilderness

Sabbath School Net Posted on March 28, 2023 by Sabbath School LessonMarch 29, 2023avatar
the Woman, Child and Dragon

Read Revelation 12:6 and compare it to Revelation 12:14-16. Notice carefully the time period, Satan’s attack on the “woman” (God’s church), and God’s provision for His people. What are these verses talking about? The 1,260 days in Revelation 12:6 are parallel to the time, times, and half a time in Revelation 12:14. This same time prophecy describing the same time period … Continue reading –>

1: Jesus Wins, Satan Loses – Teaching Plan

Sabbath School Net Posted on March 28, 2023 by Michael FrackerMarch 28, 2023Michael Fracker

Key Thought: The theme of the last book in the Bible, Revelation, is that Jesus wins and Satn loses. The heart of the battle is in Revelation 12. April 1, 2023 1. Have a volunteer read Revelation 12:7-9. Ask class members to share a short thought on what the most important point is in this … Continue reading –>

Tuesday: Accepting Jesus’ Victory

Sabbath School Net Posted on March 27, 2023 by Sabbath School LessonMarch 22, 2023avatar
Christ in Gethsemane

As depicted in the Bible, Jesus has never lost a battle with Satan. He is the mighty conqueror. The victor over the powers of evil. It is one thing to believe that Jesus was victorious over the temptations of Satan; it is quite another thing to believe that Christ’s victory is our victory, as well. … Continue reading –>

Sabbath School Net Posted on March 27, 2023 by Corinne KnopperMarch 27, 2023avatar

“Three Cosmic Messages” encourages us to  Watch Ye Saints – Hymn 598 as we near the end of this old world’s history to witness the Second Coming of our Lord, and Saviour, Jesus Christ. This is a wonderful hymn to give courage, dear people, and is our theme for this quarter. We will be noting at … Continue reading –>

Monday: Satan’s Attack

Sabbath School Net Posted on March 26, 2023 by Sabbath School LessonMarch 22, 2023avatar
Escape from Bethlehem

From the start, Satan (see Revelation 12:4-5) sought to destroy Christ. Yet, in every attempt, Satan failed. At Christ’s birth, for instance, an angel warned Joseph and Mary about Herod’s vicious plans, and they fled into Egypt. Jesus faced Satan’s most enticing temptations in the wilderness with an “It is written,” and thus found protection in the Word … Continue reading –>

At a camp meeting 40 years later, I happened to see Dr. I. demonstrating some kind of health product, if I remember correctly. (In my mind, I see only the image of him, much older, but still looking much like he did when I was a student, with a friend by my side.) I lingered a little but did not introduce myself. I briefly wondered whether he recognized me. I’m fairly sure that I was as recognizable to him as he was to me.

Had he changed? Or did he still feel superior in his “humility”? Should I talk to him? I didn’t know how to approach him, and was busy with friends. I still don’t know whether I should have said something. (Maybe I’m just a coward.)

If God wants him to see my story, his and my identity are clear enough in this post, that God can direct him to it.
