Worship the Creator – Teaching Plan
Key Thought : The first angel’s message is relevant and universal because it concerns the fate of the world.
1. Have a volunteer read Rev 14:6; Matthew 28:19.

A. Ask class members to share what the most important point of this text is.
B. Why is reaching out to others one of the best ways of being prepared for the coming of the Lord?
C. Personal Application : Why are the church members so slow and not persistent in giving the three angel’s messages to their neighbors, friends, or relatives; let alone the world? Share your thoughts.
D. Case Study: One of your relatives states, “How can the everlasting gospel be preached in all the world? Here are so many countries that are Muslim, Buddhist, Shintu, or Hindi that would never allow the Christian gospel to be preached.” How would you reply to your relative?
2. Have a volunteer read Revelation 14:7.
A. Ask class members to share what the most important point of this text is.
B. How do we give glory to God?
(Note: I Cor. 6:19,20; I Cor 10:31; Romans 12:1 with Philippians 3:18,19 – Glorifying God has to do with His character. What we eat, what we drink, and how we live to reveal His character in us.)
C. Personal Application : How do we share the Sabbath with others as part of the everlasting gospel in worshipping the Creator? Share your thoughts.
D. Case Study: One of your friends states, “What does fearing God have to do with the everlasting gospel? We’re not supposed to be afraid of God, are we?” How would you reply to your relative?
(Note: Eccl. 12:13, Psalm 111:10; Lev. 25:17,18. The fear of God is an awesome respect that leads to obedience to His commandments.)
3. Have a volunteer read Revelation 14:8-11.
A. Ask class members to share what the most important point of this text is.
B. Why is the proclamation of Babylon being fallen a part of the everlasting gospel? Shouldn’t the gospel be just good news?
C. Personal Application : Why is the Day of Judgment such a big focus in the Bible? Haven’t we been proclaiming this Judgment Day message for over one hundred and seventy years now? Are we sure this is true? Share your thoughts.
D. Case Study: One of your neighbors states, “Why do we have to go after other churches as teaching falsehood? We are always accused of stealing sheep. Can’t we just leave them alone and preach Christ as Creator? And if they want to worship on Sunday as the resurrection day, let them be.” How would you reply to your relative?
4. Have a volunteer read Luke 23:39-43.
A. Ask class members to share what the most important point of this text is.
B. How does this story reveal the great hope of the everlasting gospel for all sinners?
C. Personal Application : Do we tend to be more judgmental of others instead of encouraging them with the good news? How can we have more grace in our lives? Share your thoughts.
D. Case Study: Think of one person who needs to hear a message from this week’s lesson. Tell the class what you plan to do this week to share with that person.
