The Role of the Bible in the Last Days

Sabbath School Net Posted on April 19, 2026 by William EarnhardtApril 19, 2026avatar

He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make … Continue reading –>

Sabbath School Net Posted on April 17, 2026 by Inge AndersonApril 17, 2026avatar

Can you easily spot whether someone is proud? Or whether someone is humble? “We’ve all known people with big egos … ” our lesson author writes. It might be worthwhile to remember that we most frequently see our own faults in others. So if we often spot the sin of pride in others, that might well … Continue reading –>

Introduction: When I was a student at Andrews University, I was a member of the Student Senate. I had a friend in the Senate whose views were similar to mine. I would call us both “rebels.” He went on to have a great career in the U.S. State Department and I’ve always worked with Christians … Continue reading –>

A woman sleeping under the pages of a Bible

Daily Lesson for Thursday 23rd of April 2026 Our ability to receive instruction from God’s Word  (Job 22:22)  depends largely on what the state of our heart is like when we come to the Bible. How does 1 Corinthians 2:14 explain this? To have spiritual discernment means to have spiritual insight and understanding. It makes … Continue reading –>

Growing in a Relationship With God has many wonderful steps in it. Bible Stands above Other Media

Daily Lesson for Tuesday 21st of April 2026 A trend among some liberal theologians in the 1960s was to write God out of the field of theology. In 2017, a cover story of Time magazine featured the headline “Is Truth Dead?” It’s interesting because this trend illustrates the position of our society today. The very … Continue reading –>

A Dusty Bible

Daily Lesson for Sunday 19th of April 2026 Before we explore why the Bible is so valuable and how to dig deeper in our personal Bible study, we must understand something: one of the most significant attacks Satan can make on you is to stop you from spending time with God in His Word. At a camp meeting 40 years later, I happened to see Dr. I. demonstrating some kind of health product, if I remember correctly. (In my mind, I see only the image of him, much older, but still looking much like he did when I was a student, with a friend by my side.) I lingered a little but did not introduce myself. I briefly wondered whether he recognized me. I’m fairly sure that I was as recognizable to him as he was to me.

Had he changed? Or did he still feel superior in his “humility”? Should I talk to him? I didn’t know how to approach him, and was busy with friends. I still don’t know whether I should have said something. (Maybe I’m just a coward.)

If God wants him to see my story, his and my identity are clear enough in this post, that God can direct him to it.
