You may download the full lesson quarterly for studying The Great Controversy in Kindle format from Amazon. Lesson Author Mark Finley is a a native of Connecticut, U.S.A. He is a widely known Seventh-day Adventist evangelist who was a vice-president at the General Conference from 2005–2010. After retiring from full-time employment, he became an assistant to Ted Wilson, the president of the General Conference. Pastor Finley and his wife, Ernestine, have three children and five grandchildren. Pastor Finley also wrote the companion book, The War Between Good and Evil.
Most Sabbath School students find the Ellen G White Notes for the lesson very helpful, and they are convenient to take with you in Kindle format on your phone or tablet with a Kindle App.
Of course, the full book, The Great Controversy, by Ellen White is a natural resource for the study of the war between good and evil in this universe. If you’ve not read the book before, this is the time to do so. But perhaps you’d like a slightly shorter version (not as many quoted Bible texts) in modern language. In that case we recommend Love Under Fire – the condensed modern-language version of The Great Controversy. It is a really good read – even after reading the original version, and if you’re intimidated by the original version, then, for sure, this is for you!
The whole Conflict Series is a wonderful resource for this quarter’s lessons, and you’ll find links to these books in the Great Controversy Resources page.
