Sabbath: Last Things: Jesus and the Saved

Memory Text: “ ‘Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began’ ” (Acts 3:19-21, NKJV).
Key Thought: The Bible’s teaching on Christ’s ministry in the heavenly sanctuary, His second coming, and the resurrection of the dead stand together as a message of hope for those who have placed their trust in Him.
The history of the great controversy between good and evil has had many pivotal moments; the climax, though, was at the cross, where Satan’s ultimate defeat and destruction were ensured. At the same time, biblical prophecy points to a “time of the end” (Dan. 12:4, 9), a period in salvation history with its own significance in terms of the relationship between the Lord and His people. Events within this “time of the end” period are described as eschatological, meaning ‘last things’.
In this week’s lesson we will look at three special events within this general period of the ‘last things’ that have immense spiritual implications: Christ’s ministry in the heavenly sanctuary, the second coming of Christ, and the resurrection of those who died in true faith.

The coming of Jesus is not secret. As the high priest comes out from the most holy place to the outer court, so will Christ descend together with the multitude of angels and it will the noisiest time of all ages. He is coming to fetch home those who repented and took time to be holy. They are those who are said to be dead in Christ and they will resurrect first to meet Him in the sky. We need to be ready for the Lord that He doesn’t come as a thief in the night.
All signs are showing that He is coming soon, so get ready for the king.
That is true. Jesus come back. I wait for this moment.
The key thought touches on three points. Firstly, Jesus’ role as heavenly High Priest, secondly, second coming and finally, dead in Christ will rise first. These are closely related events and these events are tied down with Jesus. Prior to coming, Jesus needs to end the role as heavenly High Priest followed immediately with the-long waited event in the Christendom. The resurrection of the dead is the direct respond to His second coming prompted by the power of God which will be a universal event according to Rev. 1:7. But the dead will be first to see Jesus according to 1 Thess. 4:16 and living with caught up with Him in heaven by the interpretation of 1 Thess. 4:17. It will be a resounding and glad tiding for we will be told by our guardian angel to look up to behold our redemption draws near in Luke 21:28. I can’t wait to hear my angel telling me that.
The dead will not be first to see Jesus,while they are resurrecting,the living will be changed in a flash,in the twinkling of an eye. Together in spiritual body they(we) meet Jesus. 1 cor. 15:51,52.
Some people take "The dead in Christ shall rise first" to mean that they go up before the living. Others take it to refer to the two ressurections and the dead in Christ will rise out of their graves first before the second ressurection 1,000 years later when the wicked did rise to meet their doom.
Or it could just mean that the dead of Christ rise before the living saints are caught up into the clouds. (See 1 Thess 4:13-18) Paul specifically assures the Thessalonians that the living will not precede the dead in Christ. But the dead will first rise, and then, the living saints and the risen saints will together meet the Lord in the air.
His coming for me occurs upon my death. His return happens when God says so.
At that moment we don't want to be afraid to every wrong things whose are happening, the most important thing is that, we must make all our best of accomplish our mission that God had gave us on Matthew <>
Repentance brings about a renewed and healthier relationship between a sinner and God. It opens a pathway for a better flow of communication and communion. Christ daily redemptive activities is made manifest in our lives.
The way I look at it, we are all on death row, if we don't have a living relationship with Jesus Christ. God Said: I created you, Oh John, Tyler, William, Stephen, Jennifer, Inge, Lillian... I formed you Seventh-day-Adventist's. Fear not, I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name, you are mine. Isaiah 43:1,2. If we take the power of 2 Timothy 1:7 to grasp this concept and hold onto it, we are ready for Jesus to come in the air, calling us to meet Him in the clouds.
This is the only hope we have; after all of the troubles this world has given us. Let us be watchful and prayerful, making ourselves and others ready for The Lord soon comming.
The things in this world shows that the world is at it end ages this is because Man don't use the word of God in his life.
