05: Spirit-Empowered Witnessing – Singing with Inspiration
The title for the quarter immediately brings to mind Hymn 499 – What A Friend We Have in Jesus.
The memory text has the people praying with the answer of their prayer having the Holy Spirit come to them:
Hymn 264 – O for That Flame of Living Fire.. We can request this in
Hymn 268 – Holy Spirit, Light Divine, and
Hymn 269 – Come, Holy Spirit.
Sabbath afternoon’s study immediately opens with
Hymn 378 – Go, Preach My Gospel (Mark 16:15) because the Holy Spirit had been received. The people went forth as is sung in
Hymn 356 – Lord Who Dost Give to Thy Church.
