As the Israelites forgot about God and followed so many other gods and nations, God remained faithful to them, with Isaiah and many other prophets working so hard for God to turn His people around, hence I will choose 
Hymn 100 – Great Is Thy Faithfulness as a theme hymn for this quarter. Secondary to this we may use 
Hymn 104 – My Shepherd Will Supply My Need.

Our lesson study this week opens with yet another George F Handel song from The Messiah in our memory text, Isaiah 53:5:
Chorus No 24 – “Surely He Hath Borne Our Griefs” and this continues into the next one “And With His Stripes We are Healed”. Sunday goes on to use No 23  – “He  Was Despised” in Isaiah 50:6.

Some of the many hymns of the cross that will help with our understanding of Sunday’s lesson is

Hymn 86 –How Great Thou Art, 
Hymn 109 – Marvelous Grace, 
Hymn 148 – O Love How Deep How Broad, 
Hymn 152 – Tell Me the Story of Jesus, 
Hymn 154/155 – When I Survey the Wondrous Cross, 
Hymn 157 – Go to Dark Gethsemane and 
Hymn 159 – The Old Rugged Cross.
The suffering of our Servant, Jesus Christ, is also reflected in these hymns for Monday.

Monday’s study can take us through all the Christmas hymns from
118 to 143, then Jesus’ life and ministry in hymns 144 to 153, followed by His suffering and death in hymns 154 to 164.

The title on Tuesday gives us 
Hymn 511 – I Know Whom I Have Believed. With the knowledge of this hymn we may happily sing 
Hymn 467 – Life Is Great! So Sing About It.

On Wednesday Isaiah has taught us to cherish the Child born to us: 
Hymn 117 – The Advent of Our God, 
Hymn 121 – Go, Tell It On the Mountain and 
Hymn 281 – I Gave My Life for Thee.
Once again we can turn to G F Handel (The Messiah) and sing No 12 “For Unto Us A Child Is Born” along with the others shown above as the story continues through the days’ study.

Hymn 335 – What a Wonderful Savior shows the sacrifice and atonement made for us (Thursday). The comfort in Isaiah 40:2 is shown in 
Hymn 6 – O Worship the Lord verse 2, or 
Hymn 187 – Jesus What a Friend For Sinners verse 3, or No 2 in The Messiah “Comfort Ye My People”, or 
Hymn 466 – Wonderful Peace. The final thought on Thursday, is sacrifice: 
Hymn 157 – Go to Dark Gethsemane, 
Hymn 179 – The Wonders of Redeeming Love and 
Hymn 635 – Lord of All Good.
